Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and positive attitude will be the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors. In this vital role, you will coordinate appointments, manage patient records, and facilitate seamless communication between clients and veterinary staff. Your enthusiasm for animal care combined with excellent organizational skills will ensure every pet and owner receives a welcoming and professional experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to animal health and well-being. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly, answer phone calls, and schedule appointments efficiently to optimize clinic flow Manage patient records with accuracy, including updating medical histories and billing information Collect payments for services rendered, including medical collections when necessary. Support veterinary staff by preparing examination rooms and handling administrative tasks related to pet care Maintain a clean, organized reception area that reflects a professional environment focused on animal husbandry and pet grooming standards Communicate clearly with clients about procedures, follow-up care, and veterinary terminology to ensure understanding Experience Prior experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles within animal clinics is preferred Knowledge of animal anatomy, veterinary terminology, and pet care practices is essential for accurate communication and support Kennel experience or animal husbandry background is beneficial for supporting clinic operations and animal welfare Strong communication skills required This position is an excellent fit for motivated individuals passionate about animal health who thrive in fast-paced environments.
