Job Description

Position Overview Administrative role focused on delivering excellent service to patients and providers. Responsible for accurately collecting and managing patient documentation (intake forms, demographics, insurance, legal info, evaluations). Requires strong time management, attention to detail, customer service, and follow-through. Frequent coordination with patients, providers, attorneys, and referral sources. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Communication Answer calls from patients, attorneys, and providers. Resolve inquiries professionally. Patient Information Management Collect and verify patient details, including ID, insurance, and legal documentation. Assist patients with forms and obtain required signatures. Administrative Tasks File and organize paperwork; maintain records. Schedule appointments. Manage emails, faxes, and incoming referrals. Referral & Reporting Duties Document and track referral information. Coordinate admissions and submit reports to management. Compliance & Professionalism Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies. Maintain confidentiality and a professional environment. Attend meetings and support team efforts. Complete additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications Education/Experience High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree or 2+ years of healthcare-related experience preferred. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office equipment. Strong typing (minimum 40 WPM) and 10-key skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Overall Summary This is a patient-facing administrative role in a healthcare setting that combines customer service, data management, and coordination of referrals and documentation while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
