You will be responsible for providing necessary administrative support to ensure our office operations run efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and coordinating patient referrals along with many other administrative tasks. We are looking for a patient-focused candidate who has excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a healthcare setting.
Key Tasks Include:
  • Greeting patients and visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate person, taking detailed messages when necessary.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for multiple providers in multiple offices.
  • File, copy, print, fax, and handle complex phone calls.
  • Collect and verify patient insurance information.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Understanding of the appropriate use and importance of related forms, medical terminology, insurance types and referral processes.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Punctual, reliable and organized.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel to all 5 offices when necessary.
  • 1+ year applicable work experience. Education High School Diploma or GED required Salary $22+ based on experience. Location In person, Hartford area.
  • Offices in Hartford, Farmington, Cromwell, Manchester, and Enfield
