Receptionist (Bilingual English/Spanish Required) The Mission of Boys & Girls Club of Stamford is to enable all youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. We strive to empower our youth and provide a safe and supportive environment with caring adult professionals and volunteers.

$20 per hour, 401k with match available upon start.
Shifts Available:
8:00am to 1:30pm,
Monday-Friday Job Description:
Boys & Girls Club of Stamford seeks part-time bilingual receptionists who will provide administrative and customer service support to children, parents, and guests. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Answering phones, taking messages, directing calls to appropriate staff Processing membership forms physically and digitally Accepting payments and recording details accurately Verifying documents according to a checklist All other duties as deemed appropriate.
Requirements and Skills:
Must speak fluent English and Spanish, other languages a plus Prefer 2-3 years customer service, receptionist, or similar experience Working knowledge Microsoft Office, including Excel, strongly preferred Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure Work independently, solve problems, handle confidential information, and navigate sensitive situations. Excellent communication skills and ability to constructively collaborate with colleagues. Demonstrate initiative and savviness in cross-cultural competence, ability to value, work within, and interact with diverse and multiple perspectives. Ability to work effectively in our diverse community, including but not limited to diversity in race, ethnicity, gender identity, socio-economic status, ability/disability, belief, sexual orientation, and national origin. Must pass background check
