Job Description

CT Asthma and Allergy Center is looking for Full Time Medical Front Desk Receptionist who will operate as part of a team within our Practice. This position will require you to provide excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone in a fast-paced office setting. EPIC experience recommended. Travel to all five locations is a requirement - West Hartford, Simsbury, Manchester, Middletown, Hamden . Hours will range between 7:30am-7:00pm.
Specific Duties will include:
Scheduling and rescheduling of appointments Follow specific Provider Scheduling Guidelines Calling patients to relay messages from Providers and confirm appointments Checking in and out patients Collecting co-pays and balances Opening and closing front office locations Working with Providers, Medical Assistants, Nurses and Scribes to ensure patients' needs are met. Additional duties may be assigned based on the needs of the practice.
Qualifications are:
Strong Customer Service Skills Organizational Skills Multi-tasking capabilities Strong computer skills and ability to navigate an EMR High level of professionalism Reliable attendance and punctuality Excellent written and verbal communication skills
