Job Description

Medical Reception Full time (38 Hours week) in a moderate pace medical clinic, little to no experience needed as will train, no health insurance billing. Must be self motivated, work autonomously and willing to solve problems. Able to work the following hours; Monday; 11.00am -7.00pm Tuesday; 9.30am-7.00pm Wednesday; 9..30am-2.30pm Thursday; 9.30am-7.00pm Friday; 9.30am-3.30pm No weekends No public Holidays As a front desk coordinator you will be responsible for efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctor and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The Patient coordinator is expected to be committed to learn how to do their duties and tasks correctly for the whole duration of employment.
Responsibilities:
  • Making appointments in person, telephone or email.
  • Making follow up phone calls, text or emails to remind of appointments.
  • Maintaining patient data bases to be Up-To-Date and complete Schedules or makes arrangements for patients for referral with other medical centers; Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with cleaning and other legal regulations.
Keeps rooms stocked with supplies. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs. Update administration procedures where needed to improve efficiency or accuracy. Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements. Prepare and clean treatment rooms.
  • Reception and office areas are office manager responsibility to keep clean and hygienic according to CDC guidelines.
  • Reception and office areas must be vacuumed daily and surfaces wiped frequently.
  • Restrooms and hallway must be kept clean by staff whenever needed, medical receptionist will take responsibility to keep them clean and stocked.
