In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of the clinic, ensuring smooth administrative operations and exceptional patient service. Your proactive approach will help coordinate appointments, manage medical records, and facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment while honing your administrative and medical support skills. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance information, and assist with intake procedures Schedule appointments efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as EClinicalWorks Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear and courteous communication Verify insurance coverage Maintain accurate medical records by filing, updating, and reviewing documentation in EMR systems like eClinicalWorks Support clinic operations by managing patient flow, coordinating care plans, and ensuring timely documentation review Demonstrate excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office suite for administrative tasks and health information management software Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and empathy Experience Prior clinic experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred, especially within neurology and pain management (preferred but not needed) Proven medical office experience involving scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and EMR systems such as EClinicalWorks (preferred but not needed) Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Demonstrated clerical skills including filing, data entry (10 key typing), multi-line phone operation, and office management tasks Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence and phone etiquette Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate service and seamless administrative support.
