Job Description

Overview If you have a passion for pets and want to work part-time in a rewarding setting then we have the job for you! Lemon Bay Animal Hospital is looking for a caring, energetic, and conscientious receptionist to work 20-25 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Attention to detail, flexibility and teamwork are required. Outstanding customer service skills are a must. At least 1 year of experience in animal care or customer service is preferred but applicants with a shining personality and willingness to learn may be just what we're looking for. Responsibilities Greet clients and pets warmly; provide professional and courteous assistance. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar. Maintain organized and up-to-date pet medical records. Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary team members regarding follow-up care and instructions. Contribute to a positive work environment by smiling and laughing or talking gently, quietly and supportively when the situation calls for it. Skills Good computer skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by phone, text and e-mail. General knowledge of good pet care.
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
