This position serves as the first point of contact for our clients while also providing administrative support to our agents and office staff. No insurance experience or insurance license is required for this role for the first 90 days. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the insurance industry. As you grow within the company, we will provide training and support for obtaining an insurance license and advancing your knowledge within the agency. Duties Answer, screen calls and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel Greet walk in clients and visitors Calling Customers for payment reminders Scan, upload, and organize documents within agency systems Assist with data entry and maintaining client records Support agents and customer service representatives with administrative tasks Follow up on requested documentation from clients Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails Utilize computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Assist with customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and providing excellent service in person or over the phone If licensed, updating coverages on policies, completing renewal reviews. Qualifications Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred Strong phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems Insurance license preferred not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Positive attitude and willingness to learn Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating professionalism at all times
