MIAMI GLOBAL OBGYN
- a growing OBGYN independent office is hiring a full -time , bilingual (English/Spanish)
MEDICAL FRONT DESK/SCHEDULER.
This position requires excellent communications skills, strong organizational skills, and a customer service focus. The Front Desk/Scheduler is responsible for scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, updating medical records, data entry, answering multiple phone lines, and other tasks as assigned.
CANDIDATES WITH NO MEDICAL FIELD EXPERIENCE IN FRONT DESK/SCHEDULER WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. REQUIREMENTS 1-2
years of medical office experience with insurances, scheduling appointments, and handling a high call volume Bilingual, fluent spoken and written English and Spanish Excellent phone etiquette with a clear speaking voice Knowledge as Medical Assistant is a plus EHR Athena systems knowledge is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
(This list may not include all of the duties that may be assigned) Greet patients & visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner & direct to the appropriate area Check-in/Check-out patients in a timely manner Receive and convey messages, in writing and verbally Assist with chart retrieval, set up new patient chart/EMR Ensure lab results, physician's reports, day sheets are properly placed Scan, upload and distribute chart documents in document manager Print debit tickets Collect co-pay and/or payments according to insurance plan Discuss & interpret patient balance information within the guidelines of
MIAMI GLOBAL OBGYN.
Reconcile charges & payments Maintain work area and lobby in neat and orderly manner Follows procedures for opening and closing the health center. May be assigned to cover back office and perform other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be a team player and multi-tasked with a friendly personality, pleasant smile, professional appearance, and a desire to create an exceptional experience for our patients.
