We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. Position Summary The Medical Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and experience working in a medical office environment. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Collect patient demographics and update medical records. Process patient intake forms and required documentation. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff. Manage front desk operations and maintain an organized reception area. Assist with referrals, authorizations, and other administrative duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Knowledge of insurance verification, including Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial plans preferred. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
