About the Role In this role, you'll manage phone lines, coordinate schedules, and help ensure our doctors and hygiene team are set up for success each day. You'll be a key problem-solver, identifying scheduling conflicts and helping improve patient flow and productivity. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll interact with patients daily. Schedule Requirements 10am-3pm Daily Duties & Responsibilities Answer multi-line inbound calls using our 5-Star Phone Certification standards Make outbound calls to fill doctor and hygiene schedules Coordinate and optimize daily, weekly, and future schedules Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively Communicate with patients via phone, text, and email Process payments and refunds accurately Manage practice management and communication software Complete administrative tasks (scanning, filing, etc.) Train and onboard new team members in the role Enter and report department statistics Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications High school diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred) Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure Ideal Competencies Strong customer service mindset Professional, positive communication style Adaptability in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity and accountability Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude Excellent time management and organizational skills Physical Demands & Work Environment Primarily seated, with frequent standing and walking Frequent use of hands and fingers Continuous communication (talking and hearing) Moderate noise level typical of a dental office About Us Your Oviedo Dentist is a thriving private dental practice that has proudly served the Central Florida community for over 18 years.
