Job Description

Company Overview DeConna Ice Cream is a leading distributor of ice cream products, proudly serving customers throughout Florida, and surrounding states. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction drives us to deliver the finest ice cream selections to our customers. Job Summary DeConna is seeking to hire a Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and exceptional customer service. Duties to include answering all incoming calls, general office duties, assisting all departments, and will be cross trained in multiple departments to work as needed. The right candidate should be customer oriented, attention to detail, organized and dependable. Must be Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Excel, computer knowledge is essential. Ability to assist as needed with Accounts payable, receivable and data entry. Approximately 25-30 hours weekly. Pay will be determined at the time of job offer. DeConna Ice Cream is a drug free workplace. Background check and drug test are required upon hire. Duties
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly and accurately to proper departments
  • Perform data entry tasks with precision and efficiency
  • Manage office tasks such as filing, scanning, copying and organizing documents
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Data Entry (Excel) maintenance of various cost reports
  • Assist with general office duties
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivables as necessary Qualifications
  • Previous experience in receptionist roles is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and data entry and other office software applications
  • Ability to use internet proficiently
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Pay:
$14.00
  • $15.
50 per hour
