Physical Therapy Front Desk Coordinator | Part-Time | St Pete Optimal Performance & Physical Therapies, St. Pete Saint Petersburg, FL Job Details Part-time $16 - $18 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Phone communication Computer literacy Medical scheduling Medical administrative support Patient interaction Typing Medical receptionist Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description Optimal Performance and Physical Therapies, St. Pete, is hiring for a part-time front desk coordinator to manage the administrative roles, required of the front desk, in a privately owned, outpatient physical therapy clinic. Candidate must be available Monday - Friday, in the late morning to afternoon/early evening hours. Candidate must be a self-starter who's well organized, detail oriented, and who can work independently and exhibit excellent phone and interpersonal customer service skills interacting with patients and fellow staff. Candidate should be confident in using computers, including Windows and Office software in addition to having the ability to learn the EMR software. Duties of this position include but are not limited to: Must possess a positive & uplifting attitude as the customer service aspect is what drives our business. Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with staff and patients. Ability to assist our PTs and patients with administrative needs. Ability to be flexible when necessary. Ability to take initiative. Possess appreciation and acceptance of diversity. Ability to multi-task . Possess strong typing speed and accuracy . Ability to effectively complete daily tasks such as answering phones, scheduling patients, determining and taking patient payments, completing insurance verifications, submission & retrieval of authorizations, completion of outbound faxing, and understanding requirements of the EMR system, amongst other things. This position will compensate between $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, with the potential of earning a quarterly bonus. Overtime will not be paid .
