Sanford, FL Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hourSchedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)Work Location:
In person About Us We are a family-owned wholesale headwear company in Sanford, FL with a casual office atmosphere and over 40 years in business. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support our daily office operations and serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, and general office needs. This position is ideal for someone who is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing front desk responsibilities with administrative support for management and staff. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner Take accurate written and verbal messages and direct calls to the appropriate staff members Greet visitors, customers, and vendors professionally when needed Respond to emails and assist with general office correspondence Perform general administrative duties including filing, typing, copying, scanning, and data entry Maintain organized office files, records, and paperwork Support management and staff with daily administrative tasks and office coordination Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and calendar management Help organize travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and itineraries as needed Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets, and other internal or customer-facing documents Generate and organize monthly marketing reports Provide light customer service and assist with basic customer inquiries Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries Mail catalogs, promotional materials, and other company literature Monitor and help maintain office supplies as needed Keep the front desk and office area clean, organized, and professional Assist with special projects and other daily office duties as assigned Qualifications Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills Friendly, dependable, and professional attitude Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced office environment Good written communication and administrative writing skills Basic reporting and recordkeeping skills Proficiency with email and general office software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred) 2+ years of customer service experience (Required) Prior receptionist, front desk, or administrative assistant experience preferred Benefits 401(k) matching Health insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield Company pays approx. 70% Paid time off - Vacation after 1 yearJob Type:
