Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking highly organized and personable Office Coordinator to support daily church office operations. This part time role is ideal for someone who is outgoing, flexible, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintain a welcoming and professional environment. This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with office management duties, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining an organized, efficient workplace. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our office environment, fostering positive interactions and ensuring operational excellence every day with flexible weekday hours. Responsibilities Greet visitors warmly, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression. Perform data entry and maintains accurate organized records. Prepare and manage documents, newsletters, bulletins, correspondence in paper and electronic format (Canva or other publishing programs preferred) Oversee office supplies inventory, place orders as needed, and manage filing systems for easy access. Support calendar management by scheduling appointments, meetings, and coordinating events. Assist with data entry, proofreading documents, financial tasks such as invoices, timesheets and expense tracking. Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and preparing reports or presentations. Coordinate office logistics including mail distribution, shipping arrangements, and personal assistant duties when required. Maintains strict confidentiality in all aspects of the role Requirements Outgoing and engaged, providing positive and effective communication by phone, electronic and in person. Proficiency in basic office software and digital tools (experience with Canva, Shelby or other publishing and/or church software a plus) Self starter with ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks independently. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters positive relationships with visitors and team members alike.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
