IMMEDIATE
Receptionist needed!
Location:
Sarasota, FL 34231 (Onsite Position)
Pay:
$21.63/hr (eligible for overtime pay)
Days/Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM (w/30-minute lunch) Our client in the consulting industry, is looking for a polished and dependable Receptionist to support daily office operations and create a welcoming experience for guests and employees. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office setting and enjoys handling a variety of administrative and customer-facing responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact by answering and routing incoming calls Welcome visitors, clients, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate replenishment when necessary Assist with onboarding tasks for new team members Process incoming and outgoing mail, shipments, and deliveries Complete clerical duties including filing, data entry, record maintenance, and audits Address customer questions and resolve routine concerns in a timely manner Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient office operations
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication abilities Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Professional presentation and positive attitude Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team Discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Ability to remain composed in busy or high-pressure situations
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; additional college coursework or degree preferred Prior experience in reception, administrative support, or customer service preferred
Work Environment:
Full-time onsite role Regular office hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. PTO restrictions may apply during peak business months from June through
