Front Desk Receptionist (Full-Time)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Welcomes patients to the facility; serves as primary point of contact for patients and visitors. Comforts patients by answering preliminary non-medical questions, anticipating their anxieties, and maintaining the reception area. Perform patient check-in/check-out procedures Scan insurance cards and ID into electronic medical records system Verify patient benefits Collect co-pays when applicable. Act as liaison between clinical staff and patients. Scheduling Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.

Strong customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication Responsible use of confidential information Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time, good organization skills Computer skills (EMR, PM, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word) Insurance verification Meticulous attention to detail Perform to company standards of compliance with policies and procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm and professional
