Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Bather/Receptionist, where your enthusiasm for animals and exceptional customer service skills will shine! In this dynamic role, you'll be the first friendly face our clients see, greeting pet owners and managing appointment schedules with efficiency. You'll also be responsible for providing top-quality grooming services to dogs, ensuring they look and feel their best. This position offers a perfect blend of animal handling, grooming expertise, and administrative support, all within a lively and supportive environment dedicated to animal well-being. Duties Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures for pets and their owners Schedule grooming appointments and manage the daily calendar to maximize efficiency Perform dog bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming services with care and attention to detail Handle animal restraint safely during grooming sessions to ensure pet comfort and safety Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with hygiene standards Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about pet care, grooming options, and services offered Assist with pet sitting or kennel duties as needed to support overall animal care operations Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming or dog handling is required Knowledge of animal handling techniques and restraint methods to ensure safety for pets and staff Veterinary experience such as veterinary technician or assistant background is a plus for understanding animal health needs Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling large dogs or equipment Familiarity with pet grooming tools, techniques, and pet care best practices Willingness to learn new skills related to dog training and animal behavior management Join us if you're passionate about animals, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a positive difference in pets' lives every day!
