Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for from their first interaction.Telephone Management:
Answer multiple telephone lines efficiently, directing calls, providing information, and addressing patient inquiries with professionalism.Appointment Scheduling:
Schedule and manage appointments using our advanced scheduling software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking.Patient Check-In/Out:
Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance information, collecting necessary paperwork, and ensuring a smooth flow of patients through the office.Medical Records Management:
Facilitate the sending and receiving of medical records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information.Data Entry:
Perform accurate and efficient data entry tasks, updating patient records and maintaining the integrity of our medical databases.Office Supply Management:
Monitor and manage office supplies inventory, placing orders as needed to keep the office running smoothly.Reception Area Maintenance:
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming, reflecting the high standards of our practice.Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience working in a medical office is preferred but not required. We value your willingness to learn and grow with our team.Technical Skills:
Proficient in using phone systems, computerized scheduling software, and other office equipment. Strong typing skills with excellent accuracy are essential.Customer Service:
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. Attention toDetail:
Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities. You can juggle multiple tasks without compromising on quality.Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.Team Player:
Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to our supportive and inclusive office culture. •The first two weeks of training will be held in Tifton, Georgia.
