Veterinary Receptionist 208 Scranton Connector, Brunswick, GA 31525 $12

Full-time Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Weighing animals
- Inputting information into online chart notes
- Proficiency with computers
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member and logging all interactions
- Assist with filing and maintaining patient records
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with basic animal care tasks such as feeding, walking, and administering medications as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used in veterinary clinics
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
