Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our pediatric primary care office. In this key role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and team members, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Your energetic approach and exceptional organizational skills will help maintain smooth office operations and foster a warm, efficient environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise while supporting a collaborative team. Duties Greet visitors warmly, determine their needs, and direct them appropriately with excellent phone etiquette Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls efficiently and professionally Schedule appointments, coordinate calendar management, and assist with office management tasks Maintain accurate data entry records using our EMR Handle clerical duties such as filing, scanning records, referrals and managing correspondence Support customer service efforts by providing timely assistance and support to families and team members Prepare medical records for mailing Qualifications Proven office management or administrative experience with strong organizational skills Students who are future healthcare professionals, such as nurses and physicians are welcome to apply Excellent computer skills including proficiency in data entry Prior experience in customer service or as a receptionist in medical or dental settings is highly desirable Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse clientele Strong phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems Attention to detail demonstrated through proofreading and filing tasks Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently with good time management skills Personal assistant or clerical experience is advantageous but not required Join us in creating a welcoming environment where professionalism meets energetic service!
