Grooming Salon Receptionist

Position Overview:

♡Past experience at a grooming salon or in pet care is required! ♡ This job is also physically demanding. You will be carrying and lifting 10-20lbs dogs constantly. You must be able to handle and lift very large dogs 50lbs+ in addition to traditional reception work below. ♡Answer phones, book appointments, check in/out clients, keeping us clean, organized, and especially booked! ♡You must have an outgoing personality and willingness to take initiative.

Position Schedule:

♡This is a part-job that will eventually be full time. Part-time dates will be Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday each week--7:45am to 4:00pm each day. ♡Eventually full-time will be Tuesday through Saturday 7:45am to 4:00pm. ♡Once all work is completely finished, calls returned, the salon is clean, and all pets are picked up, you may leave early on some days. ♡We are closed Sundays and Mondays, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve through New Years day. ♡Time is allowed off with a 2 week notice.

Position Pay:

♡Starts at $14/h until you are able to handle your position with little help and minimal mistakes, then it will go up to $15/h. With consistency and above average work ethic for a year after, pay will increase to $16/h. Pay can actually increase from $16/h upward for the correct person that would play a crucial part of the team for years of service. As a Salon Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients and pets have a positive experience at our salon. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will contribute to the smooth operation of the salon.
