Job Description
Overview Our multi-state law office is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Receptionist to join our dynamic legal team. (This is a fully on-site position) The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Duties Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the firm. Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls with proper phone etiquette and directing inquiries to appropriate personnel. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date client records. Assist with proofreading legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards. Utilize computerized systems for scheduling appointments and managing calendars. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails. Maintain an organized reception area that reflects the professionalism of the firm. Provide support for administrative tasks as needed, including filing, faxing, and photocopying documents. Requirements Proven experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with computerized systems. Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable. Ability to proofread documents for grammatical accuracy and clarity. Strong typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy. A positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
