Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, organized, and personable Bilingual Legal Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior front desk experience, strong organizational skills and communication skills, and preferably a background in personal injury law. As a Legal Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, managing phone systems, scheduling appointments, and supporting office functions with professionalism and enthusiasm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal team while further developing your administrative skills. Responsibilities Greet clients, visitors, and vendors warmly while maintaining professional phone etiquette Manage a multi-line phone system and direct calls accurately and promptly Schedule appointments and meetings using calendar management tools Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner Assist with preparing and sending demand packages Track and manage case deadlines Handle data entry, including filing, document proofreading, and updating client records Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) Send outgoing mail and packages Support office management tasks, including supply inventory Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and preparing legal documents Provide excellent customer service by handling inquiries efficiently and courteously Support attorneys and staff with administrative tasks
Qualifications & Experience:
Bilingual (English/Spanish required) Prior receptionist or front desk experience required; legal or medical office experience highly preferred Personal injury experience preferred Experience managing multi-line phone systems and front desk operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with scheduling and calendar management tools Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, especially in proofreading and data entry Experience with clerical procedures, including filing, record keeping, and time management Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle client inquiries professionally Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Friendly, professional, and team-oriented demeanor
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
