Job Description

SUMMARY:
This role will undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance and will be the "face" of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easygoing personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Keep the front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary materials (pens, forms, paper etc.). Greet and welcome guests. Answer questions and address questions. Answers telephones, handle calls, routes to the appropriate individual, or takes messages. Ensure customers, vendors and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner. Receive letters, packages etc., and liaise with the mail room to distribute packages Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc. Check, sort and forward emails. Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary. Keep updated records and files. Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules, etc.). Regular and Predictable Attendance. Perform data entry and filing tasks. Perform other clerical tasks as needed. Adherence to Verida' s policies and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; six months to one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
