As a Clinic Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, helping to create a welcoming, organized, and efficient clinic experience. Your role is essential in supporting both patients and clinical staff to ensure high-quality outpatient care.Key Responsibilities:
Greet and register patients, verify insurance, and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately Schedule appointments, provide reminders, and communicate pre-visit instructions to patients Prepare patient charts, verify authorizations, and coordinate referrals and transfers as directed Answer and manage incoming calls, relay messages, and assist with patient inquiries and concerns Collect and process payments, issue receipts, and support patients with financial options when needed Maintain patient records, manage clinic correspondence, and assist with general clerical and office tasksRequired Qualifications:
To qualify, you must meet all the following requirements. Please note that unless specifically indicated, the required education and experiences may not be gained concurrently. In addition, qualifying work experience is credited based on a 40-hour workweek.Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentGeneral Experience:
Two (2) years of responsible clerical or administrative experience demonstrating knowledge of office procedures, customer service, and basic computer skills Specialized Experience (II level): Six (6) months of work experience performing clerical duties including patient registration, scheduling, data entry and medical records handling in a healthcare or clinic settingSkills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and commitment to excellent customer serviceTyping:
Preferred ability to type at a net speed of 40 words per minute with accuracy Substitution of Education forGeneral Experience:
An Associate's or Bachelor's from an accredited college or university may substitute for all the General Experience required.
