Job Description

About the Role Critical Materials Recycling, Inc. (CMR) is an early-stage technology company working to secure America's domestic rare earth supply chain through sustainable recycling. We are looking for a Receptionist and Office & Social Media Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our team and partners, and to keep daily operations running smoothly. This is a varied, hands-on role. You will manage front desk responsibilities, support office administration, assist with light facility upkeep, and post updates to CMR's social media channels. If you are organized, dependable, and take ownership of your work, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Front Desk & Communications Welcome visitors and create a professional first impression Answer phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member Schedule appointments and manage calendars Keep the reception area clean and presentable Office Administration Order and track office supplies and inventory Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks including invoices, receipts, and data entry Handle mail, deliveries, and vendor communication Maintain digital and physical filing systems Support the team with general administrative tasks Facility Support Wipe down common surfaces in the reception area, front desk, and break room Keep the lobby, conference room and entryway tidy throughout the day Restock restroom and kitchen supplies as needed Empty small trash bins and replace liners Report deeper cleaning or maintenance needs to management Social Media Post pre-approved updates to CMR's Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts Respond to routine messages and comments using provided guidelines Escalate anything requiring management review What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office support role Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic familiarity with social media platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks Nice to Have Experience with scheduling software or CRM tools Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal direction What We Offer $18-$22 per hour, based on experience Health insurance Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan A collaborative, mission-driven environment with room to grow
