We are inviting individuals to apply for our part-time receptionist position for our modern continuity of care community. This individual will have the opportunity to enrich the lives of older adults every day, AND work with outstanding co-workers. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, takes pride in his or her work, GENUINELY enjoys older adults, and appreciates a fun and supportive work culture. Some of the duties of this role include but are not limited to: Greet people as they enter and exit the facility. Answer the phone and direct calls to the appropriate person. Assist individuals who are inquiring about employment within the facility. Provide the potential applicant with an application to complete. Once the application is complete deliver it to the appropriate department head. Monitor designated areas for cleanliness and ensure supplies are stocked, fresh, and organized. Upon receiving the mail you'll sort and distribute all letters and packages in a timely manner. Handle all correspondence as assigned. Interact with residents or residents' representatives and direct them to the appropriate individuals. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Must have the ability to communicate effectively on the telephone, via e-mail, and in person. Always present an appropriate professional appearance.
