Receptionist at Porter House, Inc. in Shelley, Idaho, United States Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and professional Receptionist to join our team, 3 years-experience preferred but not required. This role is responsible for performing routine clerical and administrative duties to ensure the front office operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and able to provide excellent support to staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities
  • Answer telephones, take messages, and transfer calls as needed
  • Schedule appointments and maintain updated event calendars
  • Arrange and coordinate staff meetings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
  • Prepare memos, invoices, and various reports (including expense reports)
  • Edit and proofread documents for accuracy and clarity
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems and ensure databases are kept current
  • Organize, prepare, and manage documents as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to staff and assist with office tasks as assigned Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
