Job Description
Canton Veterinary Clinic is a 1 doctor small animal veterinary medical facility currently seeking a Full Time motivated Receptionist that will also be crossed trained as an assistant. Good communication and multi-tasking skills are a must with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a love of cats and dogs. Task will include but are not limited to: Greeting the public, answering the phone, scheduling appointments, admitting and discharging patients, dispensing medications, entering medical histories, assisting doctor and technician with examinations and surgeries as needed, maintaining a sanitary hospital and client education. Computer skills and the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a sometimes fast paced busy work environment are a must. Veterinary experience/knowledge is a plus but not necessary, willing to train the right candidate. High school diploma or equivalency required.
