In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Your primary responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, handling multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable office management skills while supporting our team's daily operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive or call, providing exceptional customer support. Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel. Schedule service appointments and maintain the shop's calendar Handle data entry tasks such as updating customer records, invoicing, and filing documents accurately. Use office management software like QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping and invoicing tasks. Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and ensure all office supplies are stocked and orderly. Assist with clerical duties including proofreading documents, managing emails, and supporting administrative tasks as needed. Experience Previous mechanic shop office experience or clerical experience in a customer service environment preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse customers. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Excellent phone etiquette, typing speed, and computer literacy are required for success in this role.
