We offer Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services built on a clinical foundation that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with proven 12-Step principles. We are opening in late August 2025 and are building a recovery program centered on genuine care, accountability, and lasting transformation for individuals and families in our community. Population We Serve We serve adults recovering from substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, cocaine/crack cocaine, stimulants, and other illicit substances. Clients may arrive voluntarily or through referrals from courts, hospitals, or community partners. Role Overview The Front Desk Coordinator at Waymark is not a traditional receptionist role. We are specifically seeking a licensed clinician — LCSW or LCPC — who thrives in a client-facing operational environment and wants to play a vital, visible role in the recovery journey of our clients from their very first contact with us. This person is the face of Waymark. The first voice a struggling person hears on the phone. The first smile someone sees when they walk through the door. That moment matters, and we want someone who understands that. Because this role is held by a licensed clinician, you will also serve as a qualified substitute group facilitator when the Clinical Director is unavailable, ensuring continuity of care for clients. Responsibilities Greet and check in clients with warmth and professionalism Answer inbound calls and return missed calls the same business day Coordinate intake scheduling and paperwork Manage appointment calendars and daily schedules Coordinate transportation for clients when needed Maintain accurate client records and intake files Facilitate group counseling sessions as a licensed backup counselor when needed Communicate program information clearly to prospective clients and families Support a welcoming, recovery-focused environment every day Qualifications Active Illinois LCSW or LCPC license required Experience in a client-facing or administrative clinical role preferred Ability to facilitate group sessions as a licensed backup counselor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and scheduling abilities Trauma-informed communication style Genuine commitment to the recovery community Compensation & Benefits $65,000-$75,000 annually Paid time off Health insurance contribution Continuing education/training support Full-time position Schedule & Location Full-time 4949 Harrison Avenue, Rockford, IL Schedule aligned with program operating hours Our Culture Waymark Recovery Centers is building a mission-driven, family-oriented culture where staff feel valued and supported while maintaining high clinical standards.
