Job Description

Job Overview:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff entering the facility. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment while performing a wide range of administrative and clerical duties to support daily operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet and check in all visitors, clients, and staff in a courteous and professional manner. Answer and route phone calls promptly; take accurate messages when necessary. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies. Monitor the front entrance to ensure facility security and safety protocols are followed. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages. Assist clients and visitors with general inquiries about the facility, programs, and schedules. Coordinate appointment scheduling and staff calendars as needed. Maintain and update client and administrative records in accordance with policy. Support admissions and discharge processes by collecting documentation and communicating with clinical and administrative staff. Maintain an organized and professional reception area. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned, including data entry, scanning, filing, and supply ordering.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year of administrative or front desk experience, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Google Suite and general computer systems. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Compassionate, professional demeanor with a calm presence under pressure.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
