Job Overview We are seeking an outgoing, highly experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our dynamic team! This energetic professional will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator behind our front desk, ensuring smooth communication between clients, pets, and our veterinary staff. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a positive experience for every pet owner and their beloved animals. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments with a lively, professional attitude Manage medical billing and collections accurately while maintaining confidentiality Facilitate animal check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all pet care details are properly documented Handle phone calls promptly, providing clear information about services and procedures Assist in animal handling tasks such as restraint, grooming coordination, or kennel management when needed Maintain organized records of client interactions, medical histories, and laboratory results Support veterinary staff with tasks like animal catheterization, restraint, or basic animal husbandry procedures Experience Proven experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar customer service role within a veterinary setting Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and restraint techniques Hands-on experience with medical collections, laboratory procedures, and aseptic techniques Familiarity with pet care practices including grooming, training, and general animal handling Previous exposure to veterinary critical care environments or equine experience is a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional pet care while creating positive experiences for pet owners.
