The Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in our practice by serving as the first point of contact for patients, visitors and callers. This position requires a blend of administrative skills and patient-centered service, ensuring that patients have a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment they enter the facility. This individual will be responsible for various front desk tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and addressing inquiries. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Warmly and professionally greet everyone who walks through the door, providing excellent customer service and care at all times Respond to phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries and directing them appropriately Perform data entry and ensuring accuracy and organization to patient information Manage office social media communication Acts as a liaison between medical staff, patients, and doctor(s) Address concerns, questions and complaints of patients and clients Process new patient paperwork and maintain accurate patient records Insurance verification, billing, following up on insurance payments, rebilling and AR reconciliation Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a front office or administrative role Adapts well to change and is very well organized Cheerful, energetic, and positive personality Quick on a computer and good with Social Media Desire to learn and grow Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and patient management Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in records and communications Experience with medical insurance billing, remittance, and claims management would be desirable.
