Job Description

REPORTS TO
Reports primarily to Office Managers and Executive Director of Personnel
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in the operation of a variety of general office machines including a multiple-line switchboard, copy machines, postage meter, etc. Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and Google Docs. Positive attitude and working relationship with school corporation employees, parents, community members and others with whom the Administration Office works with on a day-to-day basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets all visitors, answers all incoming telephone calls, answers most initial inquiries, takes messages and relays information. Operates a variety of office machines. Distributes mail (school and US) and delivers US mail to the Post Office at the end of the day on Fridays as needed. Processes outgoing mail through the postage meter. Tracks postage amounts from other departments and submits to Deputy Treasurer monthly via a Google Doc. Checks and distributes on-line faxes. Processes limited criminal history checks for high school, middle school, intermediate school, AARP staff and miscellaneous groups. Distributes Senior Citizen Passes and maintains the Senior Citizen Passes database. Orders supplies for Administration Building. Updates and maintains lobby bulletin board and receptionist manual. Assists with Reasonable Assurance Letters for all Substitutes (produce letters, distribute, maintain). Assists with various office tasks on a daily basis as assigned by Office Managers.
