Baton Rouge, LA Job Details Full-time From $16 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Monarch Medical Management is seeking a professional, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Coordinator to support our growing multidisciplinary clinic in Baton Rouge. This position supports Orthopedic, Chiropractic, and Specialty services while serving as the first point of contact for patients visiting the clinic. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, provides excellent customer service, communicates effectively with patients and providers, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy. Position Summary The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for managing front office operations, coordinating patient scheduling and communication, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting overall clinic workflow. This role plays a key part in ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care while maintaining a welcoming and efficient clinic environment. Essential Responsibilities Front Desk & Administrative Duties Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area Ensure clinic iPads are charged and placed in designated areas Assist patients with kiosk sign-in and sign-out processes Register new patients and update demographics in eCW Verify and maintain accurate patient records, pharmacy information, insurance details, and financial information Prepare physician schedules, charts, and patient travel cards in advance Request, upload, scan, and organize medical records and imaging documentation Upload imaging discs into eRAD Coordinate daily schedules and communicate schedule changes to the clinic team Ensure all scheduled patients have completed triage requirements Schedule referrals, follow-up appointments, and approved treatment visits Audit patient charts daily for completeness and accuracy Support onboarding and training of new employees when needed Perform additional administrative duties as assigned Patient Care & Customer Service Serve as the first point of contact for orthopedic, chiropractic, and specialty patients Answer incoming calls professionally and direct calls appropriately Follow up with patients who miss appointments within 15 minutes of scheduled appointment time Review patient telephone encounters and follow up as necessary Notify management of patient non-compliance concerns Explain financial obligations, benefits, insurance coverage, and payment expectations Collect co-pays and outstanding balances Provide work/school excuse documentation when applicable Assist Spanish-speaking patients when applicable Why Join Monarch Medical Management? REQUIREMENTS
