Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist on a short-term contract based to support daily front desk operations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and creates a welcoming experience for visitors while managing administrative tasks. The successful candidate will handle incoming calls, maintain orderly records, and use Microsoft Office tools and typing skills to keep office activity running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests courteously and provide timely assistance to direct them appropriately.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls, respond to routine inquiries, and route messages accurately.
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems to support efficient record access.
  • Perform a range of front desk and clerical duties that help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
  • Prepare, update, and format documents using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Enter information accurately and complete typing-based tasks with speed and attention to detail.
