Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, managing a high volume of incoming calls, and keeping office communication organized. The right candidate will bring strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with efficiency throughout the workday.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome visitors and provide a courteous first point of contact for guests, callers, and staff.
  • Manage a multi-line telephone system, directing incoming calls accurately and efficiently to the appropriate departments or team members.
  • Respond to inbound phone inquiries with courtesy, gathering information and relaying messages when needed.
  • Maintain an organized reception area and support smooth day-to-day front office operations.
  • Assist with routine administrative tasks such as taking messages, tracking communications, and providing general office support.
  • Coordinate call handling across a switchboard environment with multiple active lines while maintaining excellent service standards.
