The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced grooming salon environment. Responsibilities Greet clients and pets warmly upon arrival. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to text messages, emails, and social media inquiries. Schedule, confirm, and manage grooming appointments. Check pets in and out for grooming services. Process payments, invoices, and daily transactions accurately. Maintain client records and update pet information as needed. Assist in promoting salon services, retail products, and special promotions. Communicate grooming instructions and client requests clearly to grooming staff. Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming. Assist with laundry, light cleaning, and other administrative tasks as needed. Monitor salon schedules to maximize efficiency and appointment availability. Qualifications Previous customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred. Experience in the pet care industry is a plus but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable interacting with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling software. Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the salon during shifts. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds when assisting clients or staff. Comfortable working around barking dogs, pet hair, and grooming salon activity. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
