Job Description

Receptionist A commitment to care. A legacy of compassion. This is D'Youville. Since 1960, D'Youville Life & Wellness Community has provided Greater Lowell and surrounding communities with Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care earning the respect of its peers and the trust of the community at large. We are looking for an experienced Receptionist for the D'Youville Center for Advanced Therapy . $15.50 to $17.50 per hour depending on experience. 10am to 6pm on Every Other Weekend.
Senior Receptionist Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. One year of Administrative/Clerical and Customer Service experience. Computer and relevant software application experience.
Receptionist Job Summary:
Carry out disease prevention initiatives - visitor masking, social distancing, etc. Sanitize shared surfaces in the lobby and make sure hand sanitizer and face masks are on hand and used regularly. Maintain record of employee and visitor entry and exit. Receive telephone calls, transfer or take messages. Maintain supplies inventory and restock as necessary. Prepare letters and documents as directed. Assist in the receipt, sorting and distribution of unit and resident incoming mail, newspapers, correspondence and other items. Operate paging system as instructed or for planned emergency drill or actual emergency. Update admission and discharge register. Prepare new patient charts, new admission folders. Maintain patient records by receiving, sorting and filing physician's daily orders. Make copies of and release pertinent medical information upon receipt of proper authorization.
