FALL 2026
Position Summary We are seeking a professional, organized, and client-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our law firm. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage front office operations, and support attorneys and staff in maintaining an efficient and welcoming office environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner. Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls. Schedule and confirm appointments, consultations, and meetings. Maintain reception area and conference rooms to ensure a professional appearance. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries. Prepare outgoing mail and coordinate courier services as needed. Manage client intake forms and ensure accurate collection of information. Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing legal documents. Enter and update client information in the firm's case management system. Coordinate conference room scheduling and meeting preparations. Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service experience preferred. Experience in a legal, professional services, or office environment is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Skills & Competencies Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong telephone etiquette. Dependability and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Professionalism when interacting with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Work Environment This position operates in a professional office setting and requires regular interaction with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other legal professionals. Compensation Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience
