Job Description
Job Summary Furbaby Medical is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for both pets and their families. This position focuses on client communication, scheduling, and front desk operations , helping ensure a smooth and efficient workflow throughout the hospital. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary environment. Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Front Desk Operations Greet clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner Provide excellent customer service and create a positive first impression Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with appointment requests Scheduling & Workflow Management Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments to support efficient daily operations Coordinate communication between clients and the medical team Assist in managing daily patient flow and minimizing wait times Billing & Administrative Support Process payments accurately and handle invoicing Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Enter and update client and patient information in the practice management system General Support Assist with basic clinic support tasks as needed Help maintain a clean, organized reception and waiting area Qualifications Required Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working around dogs and cats Preferred Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or medical office Familiarity with veterinary terminology Experience with scheduling software or practice management systems Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Weekly payroll 4-Day work week Predictable schedule Paid Time Off and sick time Paid lunch Paid holidays Employee pet care benefits Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity for growth within a new and expanding practice Why Join Furbaby Medical Brand new, modern facility - Opening in Jun 2026 Focus on high-quality care and client experience Positive, respectful workplace culture Opportunity to grow with a new veterinary practice
