This position is a 12-month position. The receptionist will be the first impression of the church, school and childcare and will project a positive image of the ministry. The receptionist will perform various administrative and office management functions and ensure the timely ordering of supplies and maintenance of adequate supply levels as directed. Responsibilities Act as the ministry's receptionist, greeting visitors, students and parents. Answer the phones at all times between our open hours, 1:00pm to 5:30pm. Unlock/lock front and side doors for opening and closing of services. Monitor security cameras and inform appropriate personnel of safety concerns. Check messages and notify appropriate staff of absences and late arrivals. Check for the cleanliness of the physical space around the front reception area, foyer and staff room space and inform appropriate personnel when necessary. Accept deliveries and distribute mail/deliveries to appropriate staff members. Order office supplies as needed and as directed, in keeping with the amounts budgeted for said items. Communicate to appropriate personnel when students are injured or ill. Provide administrative support to the Senior Pastor, Principal and Childcare Director and other assignments as deemed appropriate by their supervisor. Schedule Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 1:00pm to 5:30pm (in person) Year Round, 12-month position Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of relevant work experience. Familiarity with basic office-related software and systems. Ability to operate scanners, copiers and printers. Current First Aid, CPR and AED training, or obtain certification within 2 months of hire. The ability to work independently and seek help or assistance as needed. Self-motivated and highly organized. Distinctly dependable and trustworthy, with a strong and proven work ethic
