About Us International Sound Corporation has delivered professional technology solutions to the racing, sports, and gaming industries for over 50 years. Our services include video production, advanced digital graphics, sound systems, photo finish and timing systems, public address systems, and integrated security and surveillance solutions. We serve clients across the United States, Canada, and South America from our Baltimore County headquarters and Florida satellite office. Position Overview We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations and serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and callers. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient office operations and supporting multiple departments. Responsibilities Front Desk & Communication Greet visitors and notify appropriate staff of arrivals Answer, screen, and route incoming calls Support office security and telecommunication systems Mail & Shipping Process incoming and outgoing shipments (FedEx, UPS, and other carriers) Receive, sort, and distribute company mail and packages Maintain shipping and delivery records Administrative & Accounting Support Post daily deposits into MAS 90 (Sage 100) general ledger Prepare purchase orders and communicate with vendors Coordinate staff travel arrangements Order catering or meals for meetings as needed Office Operations Monitor office supply inventory and place orders Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment Provide clerical support including copying, filing, scanning, and document preparation Assist staff and departments with administrative tasks Additional Duties Maintain organized records and files Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of office or administrative experience Professional phone presence and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Preferred Experience with MAS 90 / Sage 100 Some college coursework Experience in a multi-department office environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Paid time off 401(k) with company matching Employer-contributed health insurance Short-term disability coverage Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday On-site in Baltimore County, MD Interested and qualified candidates, please submit your resume and contact information for review.
