Veterinary Receptionist

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary practice. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling medical records, and ensuring a welcoming environment for both clients and pets. If you do not have veterinary receptionist experience, please do not apply. MUST have basic understanding of veterinary receptionist practices with paper charts, Avimark, invoicing with CC machine, appropriate veterinary medical paperwork requirements and understand what's an emergency and what's not. The ONLY benefit is discounted pet care and a Christmas bonus. No Healthcare, paid time off or sick leave. Job is mandatory M, T, Th & Fri 8am - 5pm. Duties Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic. Schedule and confirm appointments and surgeries. Maintain accurate medical records and manage client files appropriately. Process payments both CC and cash. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic. Keep the reception area tidy and organized to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
