Job Description

We are looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations for an automotive business in Battle Creek, Michigan. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, managing schedules, and keeping administrative tasks on track. The person in this role will help create a positive first impression while ensuring visitors, calls, and appointment activity are handled efficiently. 100% onsite, M-F.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome customers and visitors upon arrival, confirm their information, and ensure a smooth check-in experience.
  • Coordinate and arrange appointments, maintaining an accurate schedule and communicating updates as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, respond to routine questions, and route inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Accept payments when needed and handle basic cash transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain receipts and related front-office records for daily operations.
  • Guide customers to the proper department or contact based on the nature of their visit or request.
  • Perform data entry tasks to keep customer details, appointment information, and administrative records current.
  • Support general reception and clerical duties that help the front office run smoothly throughout the day.
