Job Summary and Responsibilities Under general supervision, the Receptionist performs front office processes associated with: Patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, referrals, electronic medical records, administers and supports the clinic's billing, and insurance functions, in accordance with internal standards and procedures, and regulatory requirements. Instilling a favorable first impression and gaining the confidence of the patient during the scheduling/registration process. Business related tasks including, but not limited to, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, interviewing patients or their responsible party to obtain necessary information when completing the registration/scheduling process. Assists with other business related functions as needed. Job Requirements Required High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Healthcare experience
