Full-time Job Summary:
Turkey Valley Farms processes farm-raised turkeys from our owners and produces quality products to meet customer needs. The Administrative Assistant / Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, vendors, and callers while providing administrative support across the organization. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient office operations, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting a positive workplace culture aligned with our core values of Excellence, Flexibility, Trustworthiness, and Employee Well-Being.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
    None Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the primary receptionist by greeting visitors, employees, vendors, and customers in a professional and welcoming manner.
    • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries.
    • Provide administrative support to management and departmental teams.
    • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
    • Maintain records, files, reports, and business documentation.
    • Assist with employee, visitor, and vendor-related administrative processes.
    • Prepare, distribute, and process correspondence, forms, and reports.
    • Support office organization, scheduling, and communication efforts.
    • Coordinate with the IT Manager to maintain office supplies and office equipment.
    • Complete recurring weekly, monthly, and annual administrative tasks.
    • Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
    • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in related field preferred.
    • Previous administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office support experience preferred.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
    • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English to effectively perform the essential functions of the position, including verbal communication, telephone interactions, document preparation, and administrative recordkeeping.
    • Bilingual communication skills are a plus but not required.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
    • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
    • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, copiers, and printers.
